Cheesekids for Humanity News

Since 2009, Cheesekids’ Nelson Mandela Activation campaigns have afforded thousands of South Africans with a platform to participate in honouring Nelson Mandela by dedicating at least 67 minutes towards goodwill and community service. This year we are doing things a bit different, we’re taking it back to basics by implementing what we calling the Community TakeOver. This will see Cheesekids occupy and enable a specific community for a period of 3-4 months rolling This Mandela Day will see us start our community TakeOver in Atteridgeville Township in the city of Tshwane.

 

As part of our community TakeOvers, we aim to stay true to the objective of Mandela Day by inspiring individuals to take action to help change the world for the better. In doing so we building a global movement for good, ultimately seeking to empower communities everywhere.
