The overarching objective of Mandela Day is to inspire individuals to take action to help change the world for the better, and in doing so build a global movement for good. Ultimately it seeks to empower communities everywhere.

So what will you be doing on this great day? Why not come through to the Cheesekids Mandela Day event? What is Cheesekids you ask? Well…we're just a couple of young folk doing what we can to make our world better by putting our most valuable resources - time and our backs - into various communities that could do with a little hand. Cheesekids is proud to be endorsed by the Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory.

We'll be hosting our Cheesekids #CheeseDay Mandela Day Community Takeover event on the 19th of July at the TUKS Sports Centre, Hatfield, Tshwane. Events will range from painting, gardening, taking care of children, cleaning and general refurbishments. The organisations that you will help include orphanages, care-based centres and schools.

On our quest to 'Make everyday a Mandela Day™' we are charging an activation fee of R67. All proceeds from the ticket sales will go towards the above mentioned beneficiaries and in ensuring you have the best fun-filled experience with us (Cheesekids).
