Good Deeds
When I got back to school on Monday, I was so excited to tell my friends about my experience at CKMD, knowing that neither of them went. As I got to talking about the event one of the girls was so quick to criticise the whole event and how everyone just "jumped on the bandwagon for Mandela". I was taken aback... I mean getting as many people to participate was the main point - this was a great initiative, it made charity fun, easier to do and social. She believed that this was only Mandela Day only.... This proves that everyone has an opinion but not everyone's opinion is not well informed... ANYWAY! I really had an amazing time, the Cheesekids organisation made doing charity easier - all I had to do was just be there and offer my help, with pleasure! I would really like to get involved and do more charity on a weekly to monthly basis. Besides having to do charity on a moral basis, seeing the participation and different levels of offering help, make me WANT to do more! I would really love to do more charity work through this organisation, how do I go on about that? THANK YOU CHEESEKIDS! Celeste Khumalo :)
