As you know ‘Cause We Can’ is all about finding people or projects that are rock the socks off of everyone they touch. And every month we find and celebrate the socks off one of the many South African projects where ordinary people are active and doing extraordinary things!

Now, we’re taking you on a trip down memory lane… What could be better than re-living your matric farewell – just with everything actually the way you’d imagined it would be? And no, it’s not a little early to be talking farewell’s… because the Princess Project by TV presenter/model Jo-Ann Strauss spends all year preparing for this momentous occasion in a young woman’s life and we lurve it!

Established in 2008, The Princess Project to gives young deserving young ladies the chance to go to their Matric farewells in designer dresses previously owned by South Africa’s top celebrities and sometimes even international supermodels…. namely, Naomi Campbell who donated a pretty pink number to the project which has already given dresses to over 80 young ladies.

The project is all about sourcing only the most beautiful dresses for girls to wear on their special nights. So, if you have something like that hanging pretty in your cupboard check out the website or hit em up here.
