Cheesekids for Humanity is a volunteer group. Every fortnight those of us who can Congregate and go to a township or informal settlement to volunteer our time, labour, creativity, ideas and resources to any need that is identified.

        so to become a cheesekid all you need to do is show up. simple ne?

To date the Cheesekids have cleaned-up a school in Alexandra; washed orphans’ clothes in Thembisa; picked up litter in Diepsloot; fed and clothed homeless, indigent and abused people in and around the inner-city; built, plastered and painted houses in Orange Farm, Thembisa and Soweto amongst many other initiatives. we’ve had an awesome time doing them and gotten to meet & mingle with tons of fantastic like-minded young people like ourselves as We end off every cheesekids event at a chisanyama (Braai / Bar-B-Que spot).
